NuEnergy Holdings Berhad (NHB) has reached another major milestone with the award of a RM56.3 million contract to develop a 15MWac large-scale solar (LSS) plant in Beaufort, Sabah. The project was awarded by Muhibbah Solar Sdn Bhd and marks a significant step forward in expanding NuEnergy’s presence in East Malaysia’s renewable-energy landscape.
Under the contract, NuEnergy will deliver two key scopes:
RM39.41 million for the supply of solar PV materials
RM16.89 million for full EPCC services (engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning)
The project is scheduled for completion by Q4 2026, supporting Sabah’s growing demand for sustainable and reliable energy solutions.
